Cool Carburetors

I’m always sourcing parts from the aftermarket for hot rod projects and I quite often find really cool stuff.

In fact, not 30-minutes ago I got a flash from a pal of mine that Speedy Bill Smith has just released an all new reproduction version of the venerable Stromberg 97!
According to my inside source, the new Speedway carb (called the 9Super7) is manufactured using brand spankin’ new tooling resulting in crisp flawless castings, Grose-style needles and seats, extended brass throttle shafts, Nitrophyl floats, and aluminum bases – plus, each one is flow-tested and inspected before shipment to ensure great performance. The best thing about these cool new carbs is that they retain the traditional look of the original 97! I for one can’t wait to give ‘em a try!
