Jim Rizzo, the technical editor for STREET RODDER, has always had a good eye for hot rods, and has built many in his home garage.

One recent project, a '32 roadster pickup (with its body coming from another STREET RODDER staffer: Ryan Manson), features a straight six and a decidedly traditional design concept. Well it's found a new home with SR's senior editor, Eric Geisert, in a deal that included getting Jim a '65 Econoline pickup (a five-window), which he's wanted since he was a kid. We'll have to see who is the one on the road first.

1. Why hasn't anyone done an article on the installation of Schroeder or Ross steering boxes??? I am not sure but I think the Ford F-100 can be mounted similar to these boxes also but I am not sure about that ???

2. I'm currently working on a Schroeder box installation on the Project Potvin roadster. We're gonna change a few things beforehand so you should see the story sometime next year. As for the F100 box, it's not quite wide enough to clear most cowls as it's designed to mount against the framerails, but it's worth a shot and we'd love to see how it goes! As for the RPU, Eric, when are we gonna see it on the road?!
