With STREET RODDER opening their pages up to post-'48 vehicles nowadays, there are a whole slew of cool cars that we think our readers would like to see. Any fans of '61/'62 Buick Specials out there?

Carrying the spear-point front fenders from '61 Electras and LeSabres, the Specials and Skylarks were the new compact division for Buick. Yes they made wagons, too, but the two-doors set up on a 112-inch wheelbase sported the new Buick aluminum motor-a 318-pound, 155-horse V8. This one, spotted in South Carolina, is running 20s and 18s, wrapped in 225/35ZR20 and 225/40ZR16 rubber.
