The Price is Wrong Bob!

And now for something completely different

I think I might have found the project car I will be getting; it is not the exact car I wanted but I can learn to deal with it. It might be the only car on the face of the earth that the sedan looks better than the coupe, and the one I might get is of course a coupe. It all depends on if the "Price is Right"...

by the way tonight is Bob Barkers finale on the show, his million dollar spectacular! As a kid who grew up with the Price is Right (well so did my parents) this is a sad day. According to a credible source (wikipedia) ole Bob has been giving away Ford Festiva's and other great prizes since 1972. This means he had been hosting 12 years before I was even born!

I am sure I speak for many when I say Good Luck Bob!

1. I'm in your parent's era and yes, it is kinda a sad day seeing Bob B. hang 'em up.
So, what is your project car that "the sedan looks better than the coupe?" I'm just curious cause I'm now retired and thinking of acquiring my first project car....actually not my "first", as I was a street rodder and drag racer early in life....but got off into other pursuits after that and dropped my "car craze". but...only temporarily....as I'm now, as I said, thinking of getting back into it. I'm not wanting to start with a ground-up restore...but am instead thinking of buying an older cruiser that is still great mechanically/bodywise and perhaps more in need of paint and/or interior work (and a few other "updates). I definitely want a driver and not simply a show car. In going that route....I'm seeking any experienced rodder's advice, ie. "In buying an older rod, what sorts of things should I look for?" I have, of course, made up a list, but would enjoy additional input from you and all the guys (and gals) out there who are streetrodders.
